THE MELVINS

I bought balcony tickets. They cost more, but come with food.
The Sea Whores opened up.

They were pretty good, and local. One long, tight groove. Expansive. Nice. I'll see 'em again.

Then my steak came. I ate the vegetables before I snapped a pic.

Next: Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant. A real surprise. Super tight bizarro jazz. Not noise. Good stuff.

And then, The Melvins.

A solid show from the fuckin' vets. 4 or five classics, a partial cover of the beatles "wanna hold yer hand."
Excerpts from Colossus of Destiny.
More Noise.
More.
More.
Buzz saying "How does it feel to be just like California."
Couple more tunes.

Yay for the melvins.
